Calculus - Differentiation - the Quotient Rule.
Test Yourself 2.
Differentiate each of the following equations using the Quotient Rule:
No rule. | 1. |
Hint. The expression in the numerator is suspiciously like that in the denominator. The signs have been reversed. So factorising out -1 makes the two terms the same and they cancel. So what is the derivative of -1? You could also apply the quotient rule to confirm your answer. This question came from a test paper!! |
